SILENCE

SILENCE arises from the need to pause, slow down, and listen to the space around us. Inspired by silence as a state, but also as a space from which ideas are born, the collection explores the boundary between form and movement, structure and fluidity, the body and the environment.

At its core lies a silence that is not an absence, but the moment before creation. A space where thought is shaped, and form gains its meaning. From this concept emerge voluminous silhouettes, sculptural constructions, and precisely shaped forms that bear Amina Hasanbegović’s recognizable signature.

Mamula Island holds a special place in the creation of this collection, with its monumental architecture, history, stone, sea, and Mediterranean landscape. The contrast between the solidity of the fortress and the gentleness of nature becomes one of the collection’s key starting points. Thus, architecture ceases to be merely a backdrop and becomes an equal part of the work.

In the encounter between fashion and space, SILENCE finds its rhythm. The body becomes part of the architecture, the silhouette takes on the character of a sculpture, and movement becomes the way form changes within the space. The collection also marks a retrospective of Amina Hasanbegović’s fifteen years of creative work—fifteen years of exploring, experimenting, and building an authentic design language. The characteristic voluminous forms and sculptural constructions, which are part of her signature expression, gain a new dimension in the SILENCE collection through their encounter with the ambiance of Mamula.
